At SOBA America, our principal objective is to initiate and support impactful projects that benefit both the students of Saint Joseph’s College Sasse and the wider community the school is uniquely positioned to influence. We believe in uniting “us” to help “them.” By bringing together ex-students of St. Joseph’s College Sasse (SOBANS) across North America, we foster mentorship, brotherhood, and professional networking that lasts a lifetime.

Near the Buea Mountain, and high above the sea, stands Saint Joseph’s college SASSE (also known as SASSE College), the power house of education, knowledge and excellence, which glows incessantly on the majestic hill top upon which it was erected in 1939. It is the premier of secondary and high school education in Cameroon, and undoubtedly one of the best in the African continent.
We are driven by these key goals:

Our philanthropic arm – Sasse Alumni Association, Inc. is a 501 C3 non-profit organization operating under the law. Its sole purpose is fundraising to allow us realize the projects we carry. Your DONATION is tax-deductible and it will go a long way towards changing the life of a young boy in Cameroon.
Since these young students are tomorrow’s leaders, your DONATION will make a difference around the world. With one small DONATION, you can change many lives. I remember when SOBANS from America came to hand over the water project. We did not have any running water in Sasse. Thanks to SOBA America, we were able to take showers, wash our clothes and live like normal people.
